In August, The Resurrection Project hosted a variety of outreach and educational activities for community cooperative housing. The organization hosted six virtual workshops, providing valuable resources and support to introduce clients to cooperative home ownership. The Resurrection Project. At Villapalooza, a local festival in Little Village, the organization provided literature and engaging with attendees through tabling efforts. The Resurrection Project held a consultation with a potential client interested in purchasing cooperative housing. The month concluded with attendance at two training sessions organized by CSO, enhancing their team's skills and knowledge. August was a productive month filled with community engagement and professional development for The Resurrection Project.
What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?
We are pending on the city to approve the loan product. No other limitations to report.
What opportunities, if any, did you take advantage of in the last reporting period?
The Resurrection Project was very active doing community engagement. We hosted six webinars via our social media, and we attended two training sessions with CSO, Center for Shared Ownership. We also tabled at a community event and made contact with community members directly. Ray Arroyo was able to have a check-in meeting with Peter Dean and update him on what is happening on our end. The meeting with Peter was a great check-iin and Peter’s guidance is appreciated. We hope to continue to do this more often.

Clients are expressing urgency for the share loan product to be delivered. Clients also expressed interest in education pertaining to the different models of cooperative ownership (limited equity, zero equity, and market rate).
