BIG Energy Director

A director to field, frame, and move forward BIGs collective project work including management of 9MW community-owned solar application by our newly formed Green Energy Justice Cooperative; aggregated rooftop solar in our walkable-village of West Woodlawn [biovoltaic]; agrovoltaic and other ground-mounted options; a DOE geothermal pilot; hundreds of millions in clean energy related capital projects we submitted to the City of Chicago and the foundational study needed to direct that work; decarbonization of the Emmett & Mamie Till Mobley House Museum and our campus headquarters; People's Utility Rate Relief Act and related community education and mobilization on energy affordability; Chicago Environmental Justice Network service and support of cumulative impact ordinance; ICC regulatory reform and campaigns for "Community Voices" program set to train, pay, and certify ratepayers to testify, intervene, comment and otherwise go on the ICC record about energy insecurity.
