The feasibility circle has been interviewing potential members of the co-op and continuing to refine the feasibility study. The interviews are generating very useful insights informing the business and the financial model.

The UIC Law clinic has been engaged with our governance circle and making progress in their work, however we have not received an output from them yet therefore not advancing this goal for the month of October. The governance circle is continuing to educate ourselves on IL co-op regulation and shared services by-laws

We are excited about the upcoming 'update' meeting on 11/14 where we will be inviting interested members in our co-op development work. We hope this will be a recruitment opportunity for new members as we educate and update them on our work. The invitation generated discussions on what the process of letting people into the co-op could look like. While some tensions arose on the process, those who were more protective of the co-op were able to share their concerns and trust the process in letting others take a peak into our wor

We had an update meeting with the City in October and shared our progress on the project thus far. We are concerned that the extension to Q1 2025 has not been officially approved yet.
What constraints or limitations with internal capacity is the organizarion experiencing related to its Pre-Development Project?
With most of the funding from the CWEB grant deployed, waiting for the reimbursements has been painful but also not knowing the next round of funding.

We were informed that our EDS has expired and need to refile it. We are working on it and should have this done by the end of the week of 11/8
