Please provide a brief update on your progress toward your proposed CWB goals in the last reporting period:
In October, we furthered our work on our incubation projects: ChiFresh growth, development of the new manufacturing co-op, and successfully launching Jumpstart Housing Co-op. We also provided TA to the Growers Apprentice Program and compost cooperative Urban Growers Collective. We supported the ChiFresh team to: - Develop a plan for one of the founding members to phase out of production and into an administrative role (Office Manager) starting in the new year - Negotiate with Greater Chicago Food Depository for a one year contract under the New Arrivals Program - Develop better food compliance procedures - Apply for a contract with the YMCA (we lost the bid because they had a lowest bidder provision) On the development of the new manufacturing co-op, we: - scheduled our first member meeting (1/4/24) - developed an outreach and recruitment plan - started developing a training plan For Jumpstart Housing Cooperative, we supported the co-owners to: - set up their accounting system and do bookkeeping for the year to date - complete their first financial training with The Resurrection Project - finalize terms of occupancy agreement, membership agreement, and house rules in partnership with U Chicago's Transactional Housing Clinic
What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?
A lot of our partners are incredibly busy and dealing with capacity issues, making it difficult for us to schedule our collective meetings. Other than that, things are on course!

We were excited to sign up for the UHAB housing incubator program.
