Please provide a brief update on your progress toward your proposed CWB goals in the last reporting period:
In March, we hosted a webinar: How to sell your business and attract and retain workers with employee ownership. We also planned for an webinar held on April 3, hosted by BREO (Business Resiliency through Employee Ownership), an initiative in collaboration with Obran Cooperative, Healthcare Anchor Network (HAN), and Project Equity. The webinar was called - Resilience Roundtable: Future-Proofing Your Small Business. We will report more details on this April webinar in our April monthly report. To date, we have provided one-on-one employee ownership consultations to 6 businesses in Chicago. Two of these businesses have begun an in-depth employee ownership feasibility study (a 2-4 month process). We will share the names of the businesses if they complete an employee ownership transition. To date, we have also provided educational events reaching the following number of individuals: January webinar: 28 individuals registered for the webinar and 9 attended. February webinar: 21 registrants, 9 attendees March webinar: 18 registrants, 6 attendees

Did your organization provide any additional TA support this reporting period that was NOT covered in the previous tabs?
Yes
Please describe the type(s) of organizations you supported (i.e. nonprofits, business service orgs, etc.)
The previous questions ask about technical assistance to existing worker coops. Project Equity does not serve existing worker coops, but we provide a lot of technical assistance to non-coops that want to transition to worker coops. So far, we have provided one-on-one EO technical assistance to 6 businesses in Chicago, two of which have begun a formal employee ownership feasibility assessment process. EO consultations usually involve 1-3 one hour phone calls with a business. EO feasibility assessments are usually a 2-4 month technical assistance engagement per business. We also hosted an educational webinar this month. TA hours from these activities are: 6 EO consultations = 24 hours of TA 2 EO feasibility assessments (in process) = 200 hours of TA thus far 3 EO events = 1 hour of TA to each attendee
How many total organizations or entities did you support (that were not covered in the previous tabs)?
