CWB Goals

Please provide a brief update on your progress toward your proposed CWB goals in the last reporting period:

Continued mapping existing co-op and added contract staff to work on this effort. Recruiting for Training for Trainers is going well toward a four day November series. Set dates for Co-op University in conjunction with established co-ops.

What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?

Continued reticence by co-ops to meet and difficulty getting past management companies to the actual board members and leaders.

What opportunities, if any, did you take advantage of in the last reporting period?

Met with City staff and Alder's office to discuss trouble co-op, Harper Square.

Did you establish new CWB relationships/partnerships in the last reporting period?

Yes

Please describe the relationships you established pertaining to your CWB work.

Met with Hugh Jeffers of the National Association of Housing Co-ops to see if he can introduce us to members and management companies to get access to board members for Co-op University.

Participated in "Lunch and Learn" for the City's housing department that was attended by 40 members of the City's staff. UHAB's portion covered affordable housing co-ops.
