Please provide a brief update on your progress toward your proposed CWB goals in the last reporting period:
We have done a lot with The Visionaries this summer. In addition to updating their menu, we are working with them to organize all their documentation for their taxes. We are also working on new promotional materials including photos with their new member, Maria Antonio de Ramon. Maria successfully completed the Servsafe certification on Friday, August 23 with our assistance. AmoraClean Co-op has also made significant progress this period. CTU helped the co-op complete their bylaws. We met with co-op lawyer Sarah Kaplan on Wednesday August 29th to review the bylaws and make sure they are ready to launch. They will have two new members, Rosvelis and Rosmaira, who will join the co-op after they complete the co-op training starting September 26th. What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?
We are in the process of looking for funding to continue the hot meal program with The Visionaries. We normally apply as fiscal agents to help provide the TA and office back up support. We have not yet identified where the funding will come from.
What opportunities, if any, did you take advantage of in the last reporting period?
Due to the progress made by AmoraClean Co-op and the fact that we were able to have a co-op lawyer come in to formally review the bylaws, we were able to move their formal launch date up from November 22 to Oct 4, 2024.
