CWB Goals

Please provide a brief update on your progress toward your proposed CWB goals in the last reporting period:

During the reporting period, CCLF has accomplished the following: 1) Reviewed 4 work plans and budgets from phase 2 grantees 2) Convened 2 COLT Federation meetings 3) Connected COLT Federation members with 4 additional resources, including an experienced land trust mortgage lender, a national T.A. provider, and comparable land trust efforts 4) Retained a communications and public branding consultant to increase member capacity for comms, messaging, and stakeholder outreach 5) Created one presentation on community owned climate resiliency projects as precedents for land trusts

What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?

Constraints and limitations within the last reporting period were minimal, but stemmed from an uncertainty of ecosystem wide resources..

What opportunities, if any, did you take advantage of in the last reporting period?

I attended and supported the residential co-op meetings and attended two trainings on using various systems City of Chicago systems. I also connected with program leadership to review submittal processes.

We formed three new relationships with capital partners and other land trusts nationally.

With UHAB and UIC, we have been collaborating on various projects in the residential cooperative strand but have not connected on specific projects. CCLF, as a T.A. partner in the ecosystem work, has provided T.A. to PIHCO, Jump Start, Artists Design the Future, as well as a few other projects.
