Please provide a brief update on your progress toward your proposed CWB goals in the last reporting period:
The CCWBE hub made significant progress on five of our seven goals over the past three months. We organized and facilitated monthly working groups across the four pillars. We have begun mapping Chicago’s CWB ecosystem for the platform. We launched the tech infrastructure (ccwbe.org) for communication, referrals, reporting and dissemination of information. We created a substantial repository of resources on the site. We held the first annual convening for the field.
What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?
Supporting Phase II pre-development grantees requires more capacity than currently exists. We are trying to offer support and TA broker relationships but more resources are needed.
What opportunities, if any, did you take advantage of in the last reporting period?
We are starting to use working groups to help bridge current gaps in the ecosystem by cultivating trust among participants and facilitating peer learning. Still in nascent stage. We leveraged the CCWBE launch event for building relationships among grantees and other partners and introducing the tech platform.
