UIC CESEC has made significant progress on proposed CWB goals. In August 2023, the clinic recruited and onboarded several new CWB clients. Since August, the clinic is currently working with twelve (12) CWB enterprises, including four (4) CWB pre-development grantees. The clinic is providing a range of legal support for these enterprises, including comprehensive start-up legal services for incubating projects.
What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?
The major constraint we experienced was our semester onboarding format. Some prospective clients did not submit an intake application in advance of our advertised new intake deadline.
What opportunities, if any, did you take advantage of in the last reporting period?
Attended several working group meetings; advertised services directly to pre-development grantees; conducted significant general outreach to CWB ecosystem.
