In January 2024, TREND CDC and TREND advanced the inclusive ownership of Roseland project by: • Creating a community investor summary deck that provides an overview of the project • Engaging a videographer and filming a video for community investors • Preparing content for the SmallChange.co website • Identifying potential partners in the Roseland community to help get the word out about the investment opportunity TREND CDC and TREND advanced the Roseland Medical Center case study by: • Engaging a PhD candidate at the University of Maryland to assist with development • Outlining the content of the case study
What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?
The process of preparing the inclusive ownership offering is arduous and staff capacity is limited.
What opportunities, if any, did you take advantage of in the last reporting period?
TREND hosted the Brookings Institute and partners for the Buy Back the Block convening. This included a site visit and presentation about the Roseland Medical Center project. Nneka Onwuzurike was invited and participated.
