What constraints or limitations with internal capacity is the organizarion experiencing related to its Pre-Development Project?
We have been learning from other great housing cooperatives, but every project is different. We are breaking ground in trying to make a housing cooperative project that includes very low income people. We are also bringing stakeholders into the building of the organization. We are forming our organizational structure as we organize in the community and making adjustments as necessary. It is a rewarding, but not quick, process.
What opportunities, if any, did the organization take advantage of related to its Pre-Development Project?
Many opportunities to meet others in the CWB community and gain expertise. See the response to the question about learnings from stakeholders.
Please use this space to elaborate, contextualize, or add any additional info about the details submitted in your report:
There was a lot of information about TA interactions because this report covers activity from the start of receiving the announcement that we were a CWB finalist and this February 2024 report. Future reports will only cover one month and will have a lot less information.
