Cooperativa Visionarias- We finally concluded their by-laws with the law students at the Community Enterprise & Solidarity Economy Clinic and are now starting the update of the business plan. We also met with them to help Alma Cerda renew her Food handler's certificate. MADEN cleaning co-op - We met to go over the plan for the remainder of the year which is to meet with Renee Hatcher to make some revisions to bylaws. we went over the things that are still needed and met with a possible new member.
What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?
We had to cancel some meetings this month because we had a fundraiser planned and because some of us were sick.
What opportunities, if any, did you take advantage of in the last reporting period?
We had the chance to network with other food businesses in the area that partner with Chicago Food Policy and Action Council. Real Foods Collective is actually helping us with nutritional food analysis for the Visioanarias Food Menu.
