In July 2024, TREND CDC finalized the contract with the RMC Case Study writer. Below is the anticipated timeline, goals, and deliverables. Timeline • Weeks 1-2 (July 1-14): o Kickoff meeting with TREND team to outline objectives and gather initial data o Review project data and documents o Develop interview questions and schedule interviews • Weeks 3-4 (July 15-28): o Conduct interviews with TREND team and investors o Collect additional financial data and documents • Weeks 5-6 (July 29-August 11): o Draft the narrative section, including the process of acquiring the property and engaging investors o Conduct financial analysis and compile data • Weeks 7-8 (August 12-25): o Complete financial analysis section o Draft sections on challenges, impact, best practices, and replicability • Weeks 9-10 (August 26-September 8): o Develop discussion questions o Prepare an initial draft of the case study • Weeks 11 (September 9-22): o Review and discuss feedback with TREND team o Revise draft based on feedback • Week 12 (September 23-30): o Finalize the case study and collateral piece o Submit the final deliverables to TREND Goals: • Share the story of the Roseland Medical Center deal, highlighting both narrative and financial details. • Create a shareable piece of collateral for various platforms and audiences. • Encourage similar work by showcasing TREND's success and approach. • Fulfill the City of Chicago grant requirement by detailing the creation of a Community Investment Vehicle and community engagement. Deliverables: • A detailed written case study. • A set of 10 discussion questions (5 on community development, 5 on finance). • A case study activity packet. • A visually appealing collateral piece (e.g., slide deck or presentation).

We are still waiting to receive $29.680.12 in vouchers that were submitted in May 2024. This delay in payment negatively affects our organization's cash flow and ability to operate.
