In February, UGC confirmed program rosters among individuals who applied to join the 2024 Grower Apprenticeship Cohort and returning cohorts.
What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?
Confirmation and communication with returning program participants-- occasional delays in individuals's responses made it difficult to follow up and confirm first meeting programs. Scheduling programming for remainder of year-- UGC was able to create an initial calendar for the first few months, but later programming dates in the season may have workshops rescheduled among held dates based on organizational capacity and co-hort needs.
What opportunities, if any, did you take advantage of in the last reporting period?
UGC will be using google classrooms instead of Mighty Networks in the 2024 season for digital-placemaking and community building among cohorts. This choice was made based on participants' user experience and feedback in past seasons, and UGC's organizational capacity which already uses Google Workspaces for day-to-day operations.
