Revolution Institute (RI) has successfully held its initial community design charette in Englewood, engaging with local organizations such as Teamwork Englewood and EG Woode. The event was well-attended and stimulated essential discussions on workforce development and cooperative conversion. While the charette proved effective, coordinating the schedules and commitments of all partners posed initial delays. Moving forward, RI plans to conduct a follow-up charette, expanding community engagement efforts beyond Englewood to include larger participant cohorts.

RI has established a three-pillar system to determine the appropriate acquisition approach, focusing on capital intensity, control level, and financial return. This new framework complements the landscape analysis conducted by the University of Chicago Booth Social Impact Program students. RI is finalizing our comprehensive acquisition strategy by integrating the student’s findings with our ongoing landscape analysis.
