Please email Chicago at UHAB.org if you are interested in participating in our trainings or would like to discuss your plans for starting a housing co-op in Chicago. Incubators and T4T is held once each year and spaces are limited.
Who we are:
We provide development and stewardship services in NYC and now in are working to share what we've learned in Chicago. We are working to build local capacity to develop and support permanently affordable co-op housing in Chicago primarily through incubators, Training for Trainers (T4T), and Co-op U.
How we can help:
Incubators cover all facets of developing and stewarding housing cooperatives to be successful initially & long-term. Through T4T you will learn both how to train co-op members and boards and learn to develop your own locally tailored courses. Co-op University trains board members of co-ops.
