This month we produced a job requisition solicitation for the project management position and look forward to evaluating resumes. We hope to contract with the selected individual next month. We have reviewed and added to our by-laws and hope to have them finalized when the UIC law clinic is re-activated this summer-fall.

This month we viewed two buildings we want and were interested in purchasing one of them. However, a number of offers were made for the building and our funding was not in place adequately to make an offer.

What constraints or limitations with internal capacity is the organizarion experiencing related to its Pre-Development Project?
We need to be ready with financing when a building becomes available because decent buildings do not stay on the market very long.
What opportunities, if any, did the organization take advantage of related to its Pre-Development Project?
We have established regular bi-weekly meeting times with UHAB and have taken TRP up on their offer to present to the community about joining cooperatives, share loans, etc.
