We have not felt the need for a hired person at this time and for that reason have not spent money on personnel. We have reinforced the organization with a strengthened working group structure. Community members are part of our working groups, working on issues such as welcoming new members, improving our environment for new community members; documents; and institutional relations. . Therefore, while we are 40% done with the goal, we are not yet 40% done with the money within this goal.

We still need to get commitments for the financing we expect to receive for low income people to join the cooperative.. We have been looking at buildings but have been hampered by not having a lender preapproval letter. We are working to rectify this.

What constraints or limitations with internal capacity is the organizarion experiencing related to its Pre-Development Project?
As often is the case, several people do most of the work. With working groups, we are increasing the number of active workers.
What opportunities, if any, did the organization take advantage of related to its Pre-Development Project?
We have taken advantage of UHAB's offer to answer questions, and of Renee Hatcher's willingness to work with us over the summer, even when the clinic is not in session. We have had discussions with TRP and CCLF about possible grant opportunities later this summer.

Primary focus at this point is a good pro forma document with sources and uses clearly spelled out. This will help us get a lender to sign a preapproval letter and to view buildings for purchase.
