CWB Goals

Please provide a brief update on your progress toward your proposed CWB goals in the last reporting period:

We completed the final in-person workshop for the Chicago Worker Cooperative Developer Fellowship program. Our fellows all completed the program and presented their final coop development project designs. We also co-hosted the biennial national Worker Cooperative Conference along with the US Federation of Worker Cooperatives at the Chicago Teachers Union.

What constraints or limitations, if any, did you experience in the last reporting period?

The budget revision and voucher process remains a major challenge as we work to accomplish our deliverables.

What opportunities, if any, did you take advantage of in the last reporting period?

The Worker Cooperative Conference. We also invited a partner from Global Communities who happened to attend the conference to share more about her work with the Chicago Worker Cooperative Developer Fellowship. She works in Kenya to strengthen the worker cooperative ecosystem through training, policy, etc.
